Today I’m sharing my personal top 3 Indianapolis Wedding Venues that I love shooting at as a photographer!
When it comes to looking for a wedding venue and being a photographer in Indianapolis, IN, there are lots of hidden gems – not just barn style weddings venues, but perhaps barns with a unique twist, enchanted forest style wedding venues, and interesting architectural dwellings that set the scene for your romantic day.
Personally, my style is natural light with warm and romantic tones. I prefer well-lit, warm venues with uncommon themes and details that compliment my editing style and vision, but that doesn’t mean I don’t appreciate a modern or moody venue, either. My heart leaps when I see stained glass, funky floors, and long halls with trailing colorful florals.
If you’re looking for a specifically styled photographer, the actual location and space really is a factor for how your images turn out. If you appreciate warmth like I do (obviously!) then I have compiled a list of to 3 Indianapolis wedding venues just for you.
It took me a while to narrow it down to a list of my top 3 Indianapolis wedding venues, but here they are!
The Sixpence – Whitestown, IN
4400 N 1000 E, Whitestown, IN 46075
Budget: $3,500-$6,500
Indoor/Outdoor Location, capacity of 250-300
The Sixpence is a premier event & wedding venue in Indiana, where classic romance meets modern luxury. Yes, it IS a barn! But so much more than that.
It features an extravagant diamond chandelier – as well checkered floors, modern features, colorblock vibes, and the best natural lighting. Its white and black tones set such a strong contrast for your future images, and make the colors for your big day pop, so anything goes here!
The reason this venue made it to my top 3 Indianapolis wedding venues list is because of its dramatic luxe vibe with incredible natural lighting. It features 8,000 sq. ft. of party space, 2 private getting ready suites (one with a pool table!) a prep kitchen, and more. It even has heated floors!

Artisan Acres Estate – Noblesville
1503 N 10th St, Noblesville, IN 46060
Budget: $8,000-$9,000
Indoor/Outdoor Location, capacity of 300
Looking to get out of the city? Located in the heart of Old Town Noblesville, Indiana, on 12 secluded acres, Artisan Acres Estate has everything you need for your romantic day to be everything you ever dreamt of.
As I have noted many acres, it features fragrant lavender fields and dahlia gardens which are absolutely stunning in the springtime! It has that enchanted forest vibe that so many couples dream of. Think The Hobbit’s table setting scenes meets Secret Garden’s landscape ambiance. It gives the perfect backdrop for candles, florals, fairy lights, and greenery. .
This venue is a Carpenter Gothic-style barn nestled in the forest, and a truly an uncommon and unique space. It dashes warm wood tones, moody stained glass windows, and so much surrounding forest that you feel as if you’re the only ones on earth.
I chose this wedding venue as one of my top 3 Indianapolis wedding venues because of it’s enchanted vibes and warmth. If you want your wedding to look straight out of a fairytale, look no further than this venue.

Laurel Hall – Indianapolis
5395 Emerson Way, Indianapolis, IN 46226
Budget: $5,000-$8,000
Indoor/Outdoor Location, capacity of 200
A part of Indiana’s historical landscape since 1916, Laurel Hall was built as the home to one of Indiana’s wealthiest families. It’s truly a castle, to most people.
This space is perfect if you’re wanting that old-fashioned “Bridgerton” vibe, or even a period-style romance wedding vibe.
This venue features 36,000 sq. ft. of space sitting on 6 acres of beautiful land! It boasts stained glass windows, intricate architectural features, and ornate details, which shine on your big day as a result. Having literally tons of space, there are so many nooks to take stunning photos in.
