This session was extra special because it was with a couple whose love story I've had the honor of capturing from the start. I first met them when I photographed their engagement, followed by their wedding. Now, here we are, celebrating the next chapter in their journey—welcoming their little one. It’s like watching a beautiful story unfold, and I’m lucky enough to be there for every page.

When they reached out for their maternity photos, I knew I wanted to do something that felt as special as their journey has been. We brainstormed together, tossing around ideas, and eventually landed on a concept that felt just right—dreamy, whimsical, and full of life. I even brought along pieces from my client closet to help style the session, making sure every detail was perfect.

To add that extra bit of magic, I went on a little scavenger hunt—hitting up Goodwill, the grocery store, and even my own home for props. An old camera, normally just decor in my house, suddenly became a key piece in this shoot. It’s amazing how something as simple as a well-loved camera can bring so much character and nostalgia to a photo.
