A Unique Indianapolis Engagement Session

Abi and Nick reached out to me with dreams of stunning wedding photos and an equally captivating engagement session. Abi scheduled their engagement photos right away, and they had the perfect location in mind: their beloved boat docked on Geist Lake.

Capturing Love on the Water

Navigating the sun, the boat, and the gentle movement of the water presented a delightful challenge, but the result was pure nostalgia. I started the session on their boat, with the sun casting a golden glow over the lake. The boat provided a stunning backdrop for capturing their love, and the gentle waves added a touch of romance to every shot.

Popping Champagne and Sparklers

Abi wanted to add a touch of celebration with a champagne pop, and it was an absolute blast! The joy and excitement were palpable as they toasted to their future. As the sun began to set, we moved to the dock and lit up some sparklers, adding a nostalgic sparkle to their already vibrant love story.

What made this session truly special was how Abi and Nick infused their real personalities into the shoot. With red solo cups and hats, I captured moments that reflected how they normally hang out on the boat – relaxed, fun, and utterly in love.
